AWS IoT Events
amazonaws · Cloud
AWS IoT Events monitors your equipment or device fleets for failures or changes in operation, and triggers actions when such events occur. You can use AWS IoT Events API operations to create, read, update, and delete inputs and detector models, and to list their versions.
Authentication
Sample Requests
Lists the alarm models that you created. The operation returns only the metadata associated with each alarm model.

What can you build with AWS IoT Events?
AWS IoT Events is a Cloud API. Developers commonly use cloud APIs for:
- provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
- automating deployments and container orchestration
- monitoring uptime and performance metrics
- managing storage buckets and databases
- setting up auto-scaling and load balancing
No authentication required. This API is open — no signup or key needed. Ideal for quick prototypes and public-facing features. AWS IoT Events is free to use, making it a low-risk choice to experiment with.
